I was just surfing around the net and stumbled across your club's site. Nice! Man I love San Diego! It would be sweet if we could get our two clubs together sometime. It's a long haul to go the entire distance but maybe somewhere in the middle? Stop by and say hi in our forum anytime.

I drove through Bakersfield a couple of months ago on the way to Yosemite.

Yikes the 20th of this month? That would be awesome but I'm afraid the notice is just to short. One thing that I might suggest to increase your forum traffic is losen up on the security a litte. It's one of those things, you risk spammers and porn if it's to lose, but most people won't go through the effort to become a member if it's to complicated. We recently had the same decision to make. We decided to open it up and just monitor it closely. Keep us up to date with any other upcoming events.

The reason I have the forum set to have accounts activated only by me is because of spambots. They can set up dozens of accounts per hour, I couldn't keep up.

I still get new "members" whose links go to porn or on line pharmacy sites.

They get deleted and added to the "banned" list.

Isn't that a bitch! That really is to bad. We conduct almost all of our club business on the forum so I bumped up all of the active members to moderators so they can trash any spam or porn. Since all of us are checking in throughout the day, we can catch stuff pretty quickly. Honestly though it's been a while since we had any issues. I've been wondering if Forumco bumped up their security.

LOL!!!!!!! Neither is ours!

I drug them in kicking and screaming.....he he he. I had one meeting where we got on a computer and my wife and I personally signed everyone up in the forum/verified their email accounts, then showed them exactly how to get to the forum......now they are hooked...MOTOR HEADS what do you expect!

I did that because I refused to call everyone every time we did something. I wanted them to be able to check in at the forum to see what was going on. Now it is working flawlessly!!!! It really was worth the effort.

Ok time for you to give me a club pointer...we have to stick together to make these clubs grow and be successful!
